Casuarina cones are small, dense cones that hold up well in humid enclosures without breaking down too fast. I like using them for texture on the forest floor, and isopods love tucking into the little gaps between the scales.
 
Great for bioactive builds where you want some natural hardscape variety without adding anything too bulky. They are also a staple for blackwater aquariums.
